  • 24 oz marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the ziti according to package instructions until al dente, drain, and set aside.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat and stir in marinara sauce and Italian seasoning; simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. In a large bowl, combine cooked ziti, ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella, and the meat sauce until evenly coated.
  5. Layer half of the pasta mixture in a greased baking dish, followed by the remaining meat sauce and then top with the rest of the pasta mixture.
  6. Sprinkle remaining mozzarella on top and cover loosely with foil. Bake for 25 minutes; remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until cheese is golden.
