- 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté the chopped onions until translucent, then add garlic and cook for another minute.
- Add sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until softened.
- Incorporate the beef slices and brown on all sides.
- Pour in Worcestershire sauce and beef broth; simmer for about ten minutes until slightly thickened.
- Reduce heat and stir in sour cream; season with salt and pepper.
- Serve over egg noodles or rice, garnished with fresh parsley.
