- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- Zest of 1 orange
- 2 tbsp fresh orange juice
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg, then add fresh orange juice, orange zest, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Drop tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden but centers remain soft. Allow cooling slightly on the baking sheet before transferring to wire racks.
