- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup whole milk
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Prepare your workstation with three bowls: one with seasoned flour, one with whisked eggs and milk, and an empty bowl for dredged chicken.
- Pound each chicken breast to about half an inch thick using a meat mallet.
- Dredge each piece in the seasoned flour and shake off excess.
- Dip floured chicken into the egg mixture until well-coated.
- Fry in a skillet with hot vegetable oil until golden brown on both sides (approximately 5-7 minutes per side).
- Drain on paper towels before serving.
