Ingredients
- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- Vegetable oil (for frying)
- Tonkatsu sauce (for serving)
Instructions
- Pound chicken breasts between plastic wrap until 1/2 inch thick for even cooking.
- Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with panko breadcrumbs.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in eggs, then coat thoroughly with panko.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
- Fry chicken pieces for about 3 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Drain on paper towels before slicing and serve with tonkatsu sauce.
