Instructions
- Slice the flank steak thinly against the grain and mince the garlic cloves.
- Marinate the beef by mixing soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and garlic; let sit for 10-15 minutes.
- Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat, add oil, and sear the marinated beef until browned (about 3-4 minutes).
- Remove the beef from the skillet; in the same pan, combine additional soy sauce with water mixed with cornstarch to create the sauce.
- Return the beef to the skillet, toss until well-coated, then serve.
