Ingredients
- 1 pound flank steak, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
Instructions
- Marinate the flank steak in a mixture of soy sauce and brown sugar for 15-20 minutes.
- Coat the marinated beef with cornstarch.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the beef until browned and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Remove the beef and sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant.
- Return beef to the skillet, add any leftover marinade, and simmer until thickened.
- Stir in chopped green onions just before serving.
