Ingredients

- 1 pinch saffron (soaked in warm water)
- 2 tsp sumac
- Salt and pepper to taste
- ½ cup plain Greek yogurt (for dipping)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix grated onion, soaked saffron, salt, pepper, and sumac.
- Cut the meat into equal-sized pieces and coat well with the marinade. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight for best flavor.
- Thread the marinated meat onto soaked wooden or metal skewers.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Grill the skewers for about 10-12 minutes total, turning occasionally until cooked to your preference.
- Serve hot with fresh vegetables and yogurt sauce.
