Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your cast-iron skillet.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
- Spread the dough evenly in the skillet and bake for about 25 minutes or until golden around the edges but soft in the center.
- Let cool slightly before serving warm with ice cream.
