Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Cream the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then add lemon zest and juice until smooth.
- Gradually combine dry ingredients with the wet mixture, alternating with milk until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 50-60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow cooling before glazing with powdered sugar mixed with lemon juice.
