Ingredients
- 1 lb thinly sliced ribeye or sirloin
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar (or honey)
- 3–4 minced garlic cloves
- 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil
- 1 grated Asian pear
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, sesame oil, and grated pear until well combined.
- Add the sliced beef to the marinade and cover. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to overnight.
- Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Lightly grease if using a skillet.
- Remove beef from the marinade and cook in batches for about 2-3 minutes on each side until browned.
- Transfer cooked beef to a platter and garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
