- 4 cups chicken broth (homemade or store-bought)
- 1 cup diced carrots
- 1 cup diced celery
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 3/4 cup milk
Instructions
- In a large pot over medium heat, sauté onion, carrots, and celery in oil until tender.
- Add chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, stir in shredded chicken, and let simmer.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, pepper, and milk to form a dough.
- Drop spoonfuls of dumpling dough into the simmering broth. Cover with a lid and cook for about 15-20 minutes until fluffy.
