Ingredients
- 12 ounces pasta (spaghetti or fettuccine)
- 4–5 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Boil a large pot of salted water; cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente (8-10 minutes). Drain.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in heavy cream and simmer for 3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Gradually add grated Parmesan cheese until melted; season with salt and pepper.
- Toss cooked pasta in the sauce until well-coated; serve immediately with extra Parmesan if desired.
