Ingredients
- 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 cup pure honey
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Toasted sesame seeds (for garnish)
- Sliced green onions (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables; cut chicken into bite-sized pieces.
- Marinate the chicken by combining soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, and sesame oil in a bowl. Add the chicken and let it marinate for 10-15 minutes.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the marinated chicken in a single layer. Cook until golden brown (about 5-7 minutes).
- In another bowl, mix additional honey with soy sauce while the chicken cooks. Once cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F), pour the sauce over the chicken.
- Allow the sauce to simmer for about three minutes until slightly thickened.
- Serve the chicken garnished with toasted sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
