- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- ½ cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- Sliced green onions (for garnish)
- Toasted sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the rice according to package instructions and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add ground beef. Cook until browned (5 to 7 minutes), breaking it apart as it cooks.
- Add minced garlic and grated ginger; cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Pour in soy sauce and sprinkle brown sugar over the beef mixture. Stir well and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Serve cooked rice in bowls topped with the beef mixture.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and toasted sesame seeds before serving.
