- 1/2 cup brown sugar

- 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy (about 3-4 minutes).
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract until smooth.
- In another bowl, whisk flour and baking soda together. Gradually add to wet ingredients, mixing on low speed until just combined.
- Gently fold in chocolate chips using a spatula.
- For the cheesecake filling, beat cream cheese with powdered sugar until creamy; mix in vanilla extract.
- Scoop half of the cookie dough onto prepared sheets, create an indention, fill with cheesecake mixture, and cover with more dough.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden brown but centers remain soft. Cool on the sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
