- 3/4 cup milk
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add melted butter and milk; mix until just combined.
- Roll out dough into a rectangle on a floured surface. Spread softened cream cheese evenly across the dough.
- Sprinkle chopped strawberries over the cream cheese layer. Roll up tightly into a log.
- Slice roll into 1-inch pieces and place in the greased baking dish.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and fragrant.
- While baking, whip heavy cream with sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form for topping.
