- All-Purpose Flour
- Active Dry Yeast
- Granulated Sugar
- Unsalted Butter
- Whole Milk
- Large Eggs
- Your Favorite Fillings (Nutella, Jam, etc.)
Instructions
- 1. Activate the Yeast: Warm 1 cup of milk to lukewarm, stir in 1 packet of yeast and 1 tablespoon of sugar; let sit until bubbly.
- 2. Prepare the Dough: In a bowl, mix 3 cups flour and ½ cup sugar. Add the yeast mixture, 1 beaten egg, and melted butter; mix until smooth.
- 3. Knead: Transfer dough to a floured surface and knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- 4. Let It Rise: Place in an oiled bowl, cover with a towel, and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour until doubled.
- 5. Roll Out: Punch down dough, roll into a rectangle about ¼ inch thick. Spread softened butter on top.
- 6. Add Fillings: Sprinkle desired fillings evenly over the dough. Roll tightly from one end to another.
- 7. Cut & Shape: Slice into pieces (1-2 inches) and place in muffin tins lined with liners or greased directly.
- 8. Final Rise: Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes while preheating oven to 375°F (190°C).
- 9. Bake & Enjoy: Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
