- Ladyfinger cookies
- Freshly brewed espresso
- Mascarpone cheese
- Heavy cream
- Granulated sugar
- Unsweetened cocoa powder
- Vanilla extract
Instructions
- Brew 1 cup of strong espresso and let it cool slightly. Mix in 2 tablespoons of sugar until dissolved.
- In a mixing bowl, combine 8 ounces of mascarpone with 1 cup of heavy cream and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract; whip until soft peaks form.
- Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mix for 1 second per side and layer them in your dish.
- Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers, then repeat with another layer of dipped ladyfingers and the remaining mascarpone.
- Dust cocoa powder on top, cover, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (preferably overnight) before serving.
