- Ribeye or Sirloin Steaks
- Unsalted Butter
- Fresh Garlic
- Fresh Rosemary or Thyme
- Salt and Pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
- Season both sides of the steaks generously with salt and pepper. Let sit at room temperature for 15 minutes.
- Sear the steaks in the hot skillet for 4-5 minutes per side until a crust forms.
- Add minced garlic and herbs to the pan along with butter when flipping the steaks.
- Baste frequently with melted garlic butter for another 3-4 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
