Ingredients
- 3 lb chuck roast or brisket
- 12 soft slider buns
- 2 cups low-sodium beef broth
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 8 oz provolone or Swiss cheese
- 3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C). Season the beef roast generously with salt and pepper.
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, sear the roast until browned on all sides.
- Transfer the roast to a slow cooker; add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Cook on low for 8 hours until tender.
- Sauté sliced onions in another pan until golden brown.
- Shred the cooked beef and layer it on slider buns with caramelized onions and cheese.
- Broil assembled sliders until cheese is melted, then serve warm with au jus.
