Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream softened butter with brown and granulated sugars until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until combined.
  5. Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Gently fold in rolled oats, chocolate chips, and M&Ms.
  7. Drop scoops of dough onto lined baking sheets about 2 inches apart.
